If you haven't already, you'll soon be getting a notice in the mail that the deadline to file your taxes is quickly approaching - which means it's time to get organized and pull together all those receipts you've been hoarding.

Don't wait until the last week of April. If you end up in a rush, it can be all too easy to overlook possible deductions and credits - and the necessary supporting documents — that could significantly reduce the amount of tax you'll face.
