A classic DIY conundrum: how can a woman garden with freshly manicured nails? With Dig It gloves, that's how. In season four, Wendy Johannson and Claudia Harvey convinced Dragon Kevin O'Leary to invest in their garden gloves with fingertips designed especially to protect a woman's nails. O'Leary sunk $50,000 into the company, even appearing on The Shopping Channel to promote the gloves, and within two years Dig It gloves went from being carried by 32 retailers to more than 350. Projecting $300,000 in sales for 2012, Dig It now sells eyewear and mosquito repellent patches, and can be found in Home Depots across the country.
