Yes, 2013 will be a year marked by hikes and new fees, but there will also be at least one benefit to all Canadians over 18. Beginning this year, the maximum Tax-Free Savings Account contribution allowance will increase from $5,000 to $5,500. The Conservative government has also hinted at a future increase in TFSA contribution room all the way to $10,000.
