This is 2012, and people no longer need to earn a living through traditional avenues. There are still carpenters, grocery clerks and bankers, yes, though today more than any other time there are other ways to earn a paycheque.
Of course, chances are you're not Mark Zuckerberg — which is to say, you're not a genius programmer armed with a transcendent idea and a unique moment in history to pull it off. Instead, you might have to get a little more creative. From spreading viruses to, ahem, hawking your used panties, here are a few of the most unique ways real people are making money today.
