In a few days, a man worth $50 billion will do something you wouldn't even consider doing for half that amount. Warren Buffett, the third-richest person in the world, will sing and play guitar in front of 1.3 billion on Chinese state television, the billionaire's contribution to the country's Jan. 23 New Year celebration.

The appearance will be a little bit goofy, true, but it falls in line with the long list of extracurriculars engaged in by the investment guru, who has acted on soap operas and, recently, demanded he pay more taxes. Buffett, however, isn't the only billionaire with a bizarre side. From the mega-rich who record their own extreme Jet Ski videos and spend thousands each year on turtlenecks, MSN presents the peculiar pursuits of some of the world's wealthiest people.
