It’s a no-brainer that the organic food industry would step up with product lines directly targeting babies, toddlers and school-age kids. According to Agriculture Canada, the global market for organic food reached $59 billion in 2010, and is the most rapidly growing sector of the food industry worldwide. Vancouver mom Emily Lo says she’s aware of her four-year-old son’s diet. “There are so many organic foods and cookies geared toward children. I’m pretty cautious about the foods that I choose for him.”
The chief of Canadian Bombardier, Pierre Beaudoin, has said the company's new C-series of regional jets could boost revenues by as much as a quarter.
