Canadian parents who want to encourage their child’s creative streak will already know about the popular 4Cats Arts Studios. And hugely popular Stagecoach Theatre Arts Schools are franchised around the world. The schools, which began in the U.K., offer programs to kids as young as four years old. Stagecoach launched in 1988 with three schools, but today has more than 700 schools and a global student population of more than 40,000 kids. Vancouver mom Emily Lo has her four-year-old son registered to start in January. “I want him to have a balanced life,” she says.
