Estonia is also a nation where people work many hours, but it does well to care for its employees in other ways. The country's 1,969 hours on the job per year is sky-high for a nation on this list, though only 0.03 per cent of Estonian residents work more than 50 hours a week on average. By that measure, the OECD suggests the majority of the country's workers aren't being overworked.
