Norway's GDP per capita was fourth-highest in the world last year, proving the efficiency of the Norwegian worker. Though Norwegians work slightly longer hours than the Dutch (the previous entry on this list, where people work about 30 hours less a year), Norway's employment rate among mothers with school-age children (79 per cent) is about four percentage points higher than it is in the Netherlands.
