The most prosperous nation on earth doesn’t have the best economy (only second-best), the best health care system (only fourth-best) or the best education system (only sixth-best). Instead, Norway excels simply because it’s strong across the board. Of the eight measures the Legatum Institute used to measure the prosperity of a country, Norway scores lower than sixth place just once (it ranked 16th for strength of government), a classification no other nation can claim to share.
