Sears Canada to partner with Aldo and Buffalo
TORONTO - Sears Canada is giving a fresh look to its private label brands through two new design partnerships.
The retailer is teaming up with the Aldo Group to design and manufacture footwear lines for their Nevada, Attitude and Jessica brands.
Meanwhile, Buffalo International Inc., will design and produce Sears Canada's entire line of Nevada denim-based apparel for both women and men.
The revamped footwear and apparel lines are slated to arrive in stores this fall.
The newly-announced changes are the latest effort by Sears Canada to update their private label brands.
In 2011, the retailer announced the signing of a multi-year deal with Toronto-born personality Jay Manuel of "America's Next Top Model" fame.
He took over as creative director of Sears Canada's rebranded private label collection, Attitude Jay Manuel, and has featured presentations of the line at Fashion Week in Toronto.
