The daughter of probably the most controversial billionaire in the world right now -- George Soros -- Andrea has devoted most of her adult life to philanthropy.
In particular, Andrea started the Trace Foundation in 1993, which is devoted to improving the lives of the indigenous people of the northwestern Chinese province of Qinghai.

Conspiracy theories aside, Andrea is also a founding partner and director of the Acumen Fund, a global venture fund that invests in entrepreneurial attempts to take on global poverty.
