The cheapest places in Canada to become a homeowner.
The number of homes sold throughout Canada continued its downward trend with 0.5 per cent less homes sold in December than a month earlier. This month marked a dramatic change, however, from a year earlier, with 17.4 per cent less homes sold (not seasonally adjusted). The average price for homes actually rose by 1.6 per cent over the last year. Where are house prices the lowest in Canada? Click through to find out.
