The world's heaviest coin weighs 100kg and is made entirely of gold. Five Canadian Maple Leaf coins were produced in 2007 to win the record for the biggest coin. The coin is made out of the purest gold possible, all mined exclusively in Canada, and was designed by artist Stanley Witten.
