My father, God bless him, just learned how to forward emails he thinks are hilarious last year. It wasn't that he was incapable before, he just simply never cared to learn. Probably sounds like someone you know, right? So what's the point? An entire generation seems to be ostracized from this technology, that's what. Even with more smartphones flooding the market, banks can't seriously expect a good chunk of the 45+ population to adopt mobile banking into their routine. And while that's not the be-all-and-end-all here, it's certainly a big blow to the potential for mobile banking to reach a mass market share.
